'PR' NICOLE'S HUNTING BARBIE & MEGAN INGRAM OF INDIANA

Congratulations to Nicole Ingram of Indiana and 'PR' Nicole's Hunting Barbie for winning Best Female Redbone at the ACHA World Championship on October 8, 2005 @ 9 months old.

'Barbie' is a 'Vin Kid' from a litter born January 2, 2005. This is a breeding we did with our GRCH 'PR' Hill's Sierra Red Vindicator and CH 'PR' Turpin's Red Mama's Girl, who is owned by John Ingram (Nicole's dad).

We had the pleasure of seeing Barbie at Autumn Oaks this past August.  She is built very nice, beautiful color and one big gal for her age!  At 8 months old, she compares in size to a fully matured adult redbone!

After this weekend's win with Barbie, we talked with John and Nicole to congratulate them.  They are very excited and pleased with this girl.

Not only is she showing great potential on the bench, she is also doing a great job in the woods.  John also reports that a littermate that is in KY is also doing a great job hunting.  This is a cross that will most likely be repeated in the future.  It brings two of the most respected 'old time' bloodlines together - The Sierra dogs from OW Hill and the Turpin dogs from the late Earl Turpin.
