LOOKING BACK ~ 2005 ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2005, our redbones proved without a doubt that they
<*~ GO PLACES & DO STUFF ~*>
Throughout the year, we saw them achieve some very nice wins at Shows & Water Races
in 12 different states.
Below is a summary of some of our major accomplishments in 2005.
~MISSY~
This gal is just awesome! Not only did she bless us with a litter of 10 pups on February 21st,
she didn’t miss a beat in competition. After coming back from ‘maternity leave’ at the end of April, in
her 1st event of the year she took Line and Tree in the Heat and Final races.
She ended the season just 5 points shy of her Water Champion title by winning 2 Line & Tree
FINAL Wins - 4 Line & Tree HEAT wins.
We look forward to Missy earning her Water Champion Title early in 2006!
Missy also remained competitive at the shows. We only showed her for a 4 month timeframe (April
– August, when she came back into heat). Here’s a summary of some of her major event wins on the bench:
- #3 Top Ten Ranking for the Year ~ New England Coonhunter’s Association
- #9 Top Ten Ranking for the Year ~ UKC Redbones Top Ten Show Dogs Standings
- Maine State Championship ~ Opposite Sex Overall Winner
- Massachusetts State Championship
- Connecticut State Youth Championship
From the litter Missy had in February, two of the females have already earned their Champion
title and are well on their way to their Grand Champion titles. We look forward to this litter’s continued success!
~LITTLE VIN~
It’s really a misnomer to call this boy Little Vin. He’s definitely got the size
and build of his dad, Vindicator. At an early age, Little Vin has taken some notable wins with co-owner Gene Allhands. Once
again, we want to thank Gene and his brother Rex for everything they’ve done to get Little Vin out there at the big
events and promote him. We couldn’t be happier and we are blessed to have such wonderful friends as we do in Gene and
Rex.
- AMERICAN REDBONE DAYS - Kansas - CHAMPION MALE
- TWO KING OF SHOWS at Redbone Sectionals (@t 9 Months Old & 13 Months Old)
- Redbone Sectional Best In Show Male @ 8 Months Old
- World Qualifiying Event Win
- American Heritage Event Win
- St Jude Event Win
- PKC WORLD EXTRAVAGANZA VIII ~ Best of Breed – Redbone Male
~HOLLY~
Holly was only shown for two months (three events total) in 2005. We intentionally held her back
from earning her Grand Champion title until later in the year (September). Throughout her wins to Grand Champion, she was
put up against some of the toughest competition redbone females across the United States. She has certainly earned her title
with great merit!
- AUTUMN OAKS ~ Chosen in the 1st group of redbone females to go up for Breed – out of a class
of 14 redbone females.
- QUEEN OF SHOW ~ Redbone Sectional
- NH Challenge of the Breeds
~VINESSA~
Nessa is a littermate to Little Vin. She was shown only two times in 2005 but watch for this
flashy girl in the upcoming year!
AUTUMN OAKS Junior Female Redbone
- Redbone Sectional Best In Show Female
~JIMMY~
We bought Jimmy in October 2005. We look forward to Showing, Water Racing and Field Trials in
2006. Although we technically didn’t own Jimmy in April, he was shown (by Dave) and water raced (by Dale Young) at the
Granite State Spring Classic. So we feel it’s alright to include that event in Jimmy’s 2005 achievements:
- Granite State Spring Classic – Overall Water Race Winner
- Granite State Spring Classic – KING OF SHOW
- NH State Championship – State Champion – Best Overall Dog of Show
~~~~WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING "THE LEGACY" IN 2006 ~~~~
