EVENT MEMORIES ~ 2006
Each year, we look forward to attending several National level events.
We enjoy the fellowship of people we've formed friendships with over the years and enjoy meeting and
talking with other coonhound folks.
This year, we've been very competitive in Shows, Water Races and Field Trials at several of the Redbone
Association 'Redbone Days'.
We are proud of our dogs and what they've accomplished in the various events. We'd like to honor them
for their National level achievements on this page.
VINESSA:
This classy gal has proven she's National competition show caliber.
We've held her back from showing at local events in order to see her potential as one of the top show redbones in the
country. She hasn't let us down!
At the Purina Point Series Event we've attended, she brought home
a win. To date, she's earned 30 Purina Series Event Points for 2006.
Although it's highly doubtful we'd be able to make a run for the standings -
too many miles, not enough time off from work and gas expenses prohibit that this year - it's nice to see Vinessa accumulate
points in this series.

In all of these events, Vinessa has won with competition:
-Feburary @ Southern National Redbone Association event in Cedar Grove, NC,
she won Best Female Of Show with competition. We would like to thank Judge George Painter for choosing Vinessa.
-June @ American Redbone Days in Brazil, IN, she won Best Female of Show
with competiton. On this day, she was up against either 4 or 5 dogs (I can't recall exactly now) for Best Female of Breed. After
winning at the breed level, she went onto compete for Best Of Show Female, in which a group of 5 were in the line up. We
would like to thank Judge Jackie Carpenter for choosing Nessa.
- July @ National Redbone Days in Holmesville, OH, Nessa takes her first Champion
Female win. At this event, she was in a class of 8 female redbones. We would like to thank Judge Janet Butcher for picking
Nessa in this event.
VINDICATOR II:
Vin is a littermate to Vinessa. He is co-owned with Gene Allhands. Gene
gets all the credit for campaigning Vin - our heartfelt thanks to Gene and all he's done with Vin. We couldn't be prouder
or more honored!
2006 is proving to be another great year for Vin. He took some very nice
wins in 2005 at a young age and continues to build upon his success.

| CHAMPION MALE REDBONE - VINDICATOR II |
Vin started 2006 with a Champion Male win at the UKC Winter Classic in
Albany, Georgia in January where he picked up his first 10 Purina Points. Thank you to Judge Lee Currans for choosing
Vin at this event.
In June, Vin won Champion Male at National Redbone Days in Holmesville, Ohio.
This gives Vin 20 Purina Points to date in the Purina Series. Thank you to Judge Phil Newland for placing
Vin at this event.
JIMMY:
What a year in Water Races & Field Trials this has been with Jimmy!
This is the first year since we've been attending National level events that
these have been offered as UKC Licensed events.
We are very pleased and proud of Jimmy's success at these events. We entered
him in a total of 8 water races/field trials at American Redbone Days & National Redbone Days. Each time, he finished
with a Line & Tree, Line and/or Tree. We couldn't be prouder.
Jimmy certainly puts his heart and soul into everything he does.

At American Redbone Days in Brazil Indiana, Jimmy competed in 2 Water Races and 1 Field Trial.
We were cautious entering him that weekend because he still had stitches in one of his feet due to an injury a week prior. Despite
the injured foot, he came away with several nice wins.
Thursday - Grand Champion Final Tree win in the Water Race
Friday - Grand Champion Final Line & Tree win in the Water Race
Saturday - Champion Grand Final Tree in the Field Trial
At National Redbone Days in Holmesville Ohio, Jimmy was totally healed from his injury and
had another awesome weekend in the Water Races and Field Trials. He competed in all four events that were offered that weekend.
Thursday -Champion Grand Final Line win in the Field Trial
Friday - Grand Champion Final Line &Tree win in the Water Race
Saturday - Champion Grand Final Line & Tree win in the Field Trial and,
Champion Grand Final Line & Tree win in the Field Trial
In these events, Jimmy earned three of the wins he needs to achieve his Grand Field Trial
Champion title, including the final line & tree win in the same event which is necessary for the title.
